Founded in 1988, AIDS Legal Council of Chicago (ALCC) uses the power of the law to secure health, dignity, and stability for people with HIV and their families. We assist low-income people with HIV manage the complexities, barriers, and unique stigma they face to remaining healthy. In order to achieve our mission, our work focuses on three core areas: legal assistance, education, and public policy.
